Annual ReportThe Chancellor of Justice submits yearly a report on his activities concerning supervision of legality to the Parliament and the Government. The report includes descriptions of opinions and proposals issued and brief descriptions of cases, which have led to actions taken by the Office. The annual report also contains general reviews of the complaints and reports received by the Chancellor, statistical data, as well as information of other measures of general significance which the Chancellor of Justice has undertaken during the year. The report is published and handed over to the Parliament and the Government when the Parliament opens its automn term, usually in the beginning of September. It is published in two official lanquages of the country, Finnish and Swedish. A summary in English has been published since 1998.
